Scenario A: Testing for Intermittent Crashes in Games

1. Select Option 2 (Extended Diagnostics).
2. Choose Loop until failure.
3. Let it run for at least 1 hour. Any memory error will appear as:

   [ERROR] Mismatch at address 0x7F4A3C2: expected 0xABCD, got 0xABCE
   

4. If errors appear, note the memory bank (e.g., BANK D). That points to a specific VRAM chip.

If you manage to source a legitimate version of the software, the process generally looks like this:

• For general NVIDIA drivers and software: visit NVIDIA’s official drivers page and search for your GPU model.
• For enterprise/Datacenter tools (NVIDIA Data Center GPU Manager, nvidia-smi, CUDA toolkit): check NVIDIA’s Data Center or CUDA download pages.
• For OEM-specific modular diagnostic utilities (HP/Lenovo/Dell): go to your device manufacturer’s support site and search for “NVIDIA diagnostic” or your model’s utility.
