Should You Play Chronos on Switch? (Pros vs. Cons)
Pros
- Portability: The aging mechanic creates a perfect "15-minute session" loop. You can enter the labyrinth, grind one floor, die, age, and put the Switch to sleep. It is excellent for commutes.
- Unique Mechanic: No other game on Switch combines RPG stats with a literal time-limit (age) like this. Not Dark Souls Remastered, not Ashen.
- No Online Required: The game is entirely single-player. No NSO subscription needed.
- Battery Life: Because the graphics are scaled back, the Switch lasts about 4.5 hours on a full charge playing this game (OLED model).
