Introduction to ZK-U485 Driver

• Older versions: v3.3.5 works for legacy devices.
• Windows 10/11 may need signed drivers from Prolific.

Installing the ZK-U485 Driver:

Drivers & OS notes

• Windows: Install vendor driver matching chip (FTDI/CH340/CP210x). Use Device Manager to find COM port.
• macOS: Use driver from chip vendor for older macOS; recent macOS may include FTDI/CP210x. After install, check /dev/tty.*.
• Linux: Most kernels include ftdi_sio, ch341, cp210x. Plug in and check dmesg and /dev/ttyUSB* or /dev/ttyACM*.
