ZBrush 2022.0.8 was released on March 14, 2023 , marking a significant milestone as the final free update
- New Menu Item: "Send to Cinema 4D" now includes an option to send the mesh as an FBX with Textures (not just OBJ).
- Material Capture: If you use ZBrush's Surface Noise or Spotlight textures, 2022.08 bakes those into standard PBR materials (Metal/Rough) during export.
- Forbidden City Renderer: The old BPR renderer got a minor gamma correction fix. Blacks are no longer crushed, making ZBrush renders look less "muddy" compared to 2022.07.
