As Tarzan observed the group from a distance, he was immediately drawn to Jane's kind and curious nature. He began to secretly watch her, fascinated by her intelligence and bravery. However, his encounters with the other members of the group, particularly the ruthless hunter Clayton, left him wary of their intentions.
