Charging
- AC charging (domestic): Type 2 connector on EU models. Home wallbox (3.7–7.2 kW) typical; full charge times: ~4–8 hours depending on onboard charger and battery size.
- Public AC: Type 2 public chargers similar to home wallbox.
- DC fast charging: If equipped with CCS (some later models), 40–50 kW DC charging possible—charge times vary; 10–80% in ~30–60 minutes depending on battery and charger. Older e-up! model years may lack fast DC charging.
- Charging tips: Charge regularly, avoid depleting to 0%, and avoid frequent 100% charges if maximizing long-term battery health (store at ~20–80% for daily use). Use scheduled charging to take advantage of off-peak electricity and precondition.
