Upgrade Medianav 913 To 10131 [work] May 2026
Upgrading from MediaNav 9.1.3 to 1.0.13.1 is officially not possible because they run on entirely different hardware and operating systems. Why They Aren't Compatible
- If you want peace of mind and a warranty, visit your dealer.
- If you are tech-savvy, ensure you have the correct region files (Navteq vs. TomTom), a stable power supply, and follow the USB method carefully.
Custom Firmware (Alternative): If you don't want to swap hardware, you can use third-party "patches" like Menaco or SuperMod. These do not change the version number to 10.13.1, but they can add features like video players, custom maps, and sometimes basic mirroring to your existing 9.1.3 unit. Menaco Customware: This is a popular paid add-on that supports version 9.1.3. It allows you to run alternative navigation like Navitel or 7ways and adds video player capabilities. Upgrading from MediaNav 9
Important Note: Unlike systems like MediaNav Evolution, the standard MediaNav updates are not always freely available via simple download. Proceed with caution to avoid bricking your unit. If you want peace of mind and a warranty, visit your dealer
