This paper analyzes the phraseโ€™s possible interpretations: (1) a request for the Georgian translation of the foreign name โ€œTorikoโ€; (2) a query for popular Georgian content related to a person or character named Toriko; or (3) a misspelled reference to โ€œToriko Kartuli Topโ€ as a potential media ranking. Using Georgian language corpora, search engine result analysis, and onomastic theory, we argue that such hybrid queries reveal the informal gatekeeping mechanisms of small-language digital spaces, where user-generated โ€œtopโ€ lists act as vernacular canons.
