As the Wilburys' debut album took shape, they decided to adopt pseudonyms: Lucky Wilbury (Petty), Nelson Wilbury (Dylan), Otis Wilbury (Orbison), Charlie T. Wilbury Jr. (Lynne), and Jericho Wilbury (Harrison). The album's cover art featured a mock-up of a vinyl record, complete with a catalog number (Wilbury 1) and a photograph of the five musicians posing as old friends.
