• Pixel art: Beautifully moody. The color palette leans heavily on dark reds, purples, and muted grays. Animations are fluid for a 16-bit style, though some enemy types are recolors.
• Performance: Rock-solid on GOG. No frame drops, even in crowded screens. The DRM-free build loads faster than Steam versions reported by others.
• Music: A haunting blend of orchestral swells and chiptune bass. The track “Crimson Crucible” is worth the price of admission alone. Voice acting is minimal (just grunts and boss taunts), but it fits the aesthetic.
