Take On Helicopters - 2011 - 1.06H - Elamigos Repack: A Comprehensive Review
It was a man Tom only knew by the alias ElAmigos. He wasn't a pilot; he was a specialist in "repacking" logistics—a middleman who knew how to strip a bird down to its essentials to make room for cargo that didn't officially exist. - The Cockpits: For 2011, the cockpits are spectacular. 6DOF (6 Degrees of Freedom) tracking works natively. Buttons are clickable. If you have a TrackIR, this game is a dream.
- The Weather: The RV3 engine handles weather dynamically. Flying a light helicopter in a thunderstorm is genuinely terrifying and difficult. The rain effects on the glass and the turbulence physics are highlights.
- Mission Editor: It’s Bohemia Interactive. It comes with a powerful editor. You can create any scenario you want, place units, and script events. The Steam Workshop exists for the official version, but for this repack, you will have to manually import community missions.
- Version 1.06H: This was a significant patch for Take On Helicopters. It brought the game engine closer to the technology used in ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead. It improved stability, added more realistic flight dynamics (the "Advanced Flight Model"), and fixed many of the launch-day bugs regarding memory allocation.
- The Elamigos Repack: This refers to a highly compressed, pre-cracked version of the game circulated by the "Elamigos" release group.
Enhanced Graphics: While not a major overhaul, the repack and patch may include minor graphical enhancements, further enriching the visual experience. Take On Helicopters - 2011 - 1
Lossless Compression: ElAmigos is known for repacking games without stripping out textures or audio quality. You get the full experience in a much smaller download size. The Cockpits: For 2011, the cockpits are spectacular
