No product is perfect. Early adopters noted limits in extreme real-time control scenarios where hard real-time guarantees still require dedicated PLC logic. Some environments demanded custom drivers for proprietary devices, prompting RSoft to expand its integration toolkit. Additionally, careful change management was needed to migrate mission-critical control sequences without introducing risk.
MonoGame is, and will always remain, free to use. There is no subscription model, royalty payments, licensing costs, or runtime fees associated with using MonoGame.
