Important Notice: Abandonware & Piracy

Red Alert 2 is not freeware. It is proprietary software owned by Electronic Arts (EA). While EA has released Command & Conquer Remastered Collection (which includes the original C&C and Red Alert 1), they have not released a Remastered version of Red Alert 2.

  • Look for CnCNetYRLauncher.exe (or Yuri's Revenge Config.exe).
  • Open the Renderer tab.
  • Select "CnC-DDraw" (if available) or "Direct3D 9".
  • Check the box for "Widescreen resolution" and select your native monitor resolution (e.g., 1920x1080 or 2560x1440).
  • Optional: Uncheck "Back buffer in video memory" to reduce lag.
  • Purchase from an authorized reseller (EA/Origin if available) or a reputable digital store that sells classic EA/Westwood titles.
