Regular Database Maintenance
- Open
PGAdmin→ Vacuum thepc3000database monthly. Without this, searching for previously recovered cases takes minutes instead of seconds.
- Open Device Manager (Right-click Start > Device Manager).
- Look for a device usually labeled as "ACELab" or sometimes flagged as an "Unknown Device" under "Other devices."
- Right-click the device and select Update Driver.
- Select "Browse my computer for drivers."
- Navigate to the
Driversfolder located on the USB stick or DVD provided by ACELab (or the download link provided with your purchase). - Select the appropriate driver for your OS (e.g.,
Win10_x64). - Once installed, you should see the device correctly identified (e.g., "PC-3000 Portable III").
