The game’s script is enormous. We’re not talking about an action RPG with two lines of dialogue per level. Ouran DS has over 30,000 lines of Japanese text, laced with: You play as Haruhi Fujioka (default name can be changed)

Verdict: If you are a die-hard Ouran fan, the DS game is a "must-try" even with a translation app. For casual players, it is best to wait for the 2025 Public Translation Project to release a stable patch.
