• On your 3DS home screen, open the Homebrew Launcher and select FBI (the purple icon with a briefcase). Alternatively, if you have a CIA version of FBI, launch it directly.

• Press HOME to close FBI.
• Insert your Monster Hunter 4G cartridge (or launch the digital version).
• On the top screen of the 3DS launcher, hover over the MH4G icon. Press Select if you have “New 3DS” or check the bottom screen.
• Look for the version number: It should read Ver. 1.2 next to the game title. Also, the “Update” data will show as present in System Settings -> Data Management.
