Title: Error: "cannot find file flashalllock.bat" when trying to flash MI device – SOLVED

Why does this error occur?

Mi Flash Tool looks for a specific script file inside the ROM folder you selected.
Different ROM types use different scripts: mi flash error cannot find file flashalllockbat

  1. Download and install 7-Zip (free and open source).
  2. Right-click the downloaded .tgz file.
  3. Select 7-Zip > Extract Here (or Extract to "Filename").
  4. This will usually produce a .tar file. Right-click the .tar file and select 7-Zip > Extract Here again.
  5. You should now have a folder containing files such as flashall.bat, flashall_lock.bat, flash.cfg, and a folder named images.
