Lossless Scaling V2.10.1 - _best_
Lossless Scaling v2.10.1 was a major update released on July 18, 2024, that brought critical improvements to smoothness and latency ๐ Key Features of v2.10.1 LSFG 2.2 Integration
Important: Frame generation adds latency (~1 frame). For competitive shooters, use X2 or Off. Lossless Scaling v2.10.1
4. Why Update to v2.10.1?
- โ
Stability: Fixes random crashes reported in v2.10.0.
- โ
Game compatibility: Better handling of anti-cheat-friendly capture methods.
- โ
Visual consistency: Removes scaling artifacts at screen edges.
- Input Lag: LSFG requires storing one frame in a buffer. This adds roughly 15-25ms of latency. This is not for competitive shooters (Valorant, CS2, Overwatch 2). You will lose fights.
- UI Ghosting: Because UI elements (health bars, crosshairs, text) do not have motion vectors, they can distort or duplicate during fast camera movement.
- VRAM Usage: LSFG uses about 500MB-1GB of VRAM. If your GPU only has 2GB, you may experience stuttering.
- Not "Free": While it doubles FPS, your GPU will run hotter because it is constantly processing frame interpolation.
