Les Choristes (The Chorus) is a celebrated 2004 French musical drama directed by Christophe Barratier. It is a remake of the 1945 film A Cage of Nightingales. • Role: The innocent mascot.
• Analysis: A young orphan waiting for his parents (who died in the war) to return on a Saturday. He represents the vulnerability of the children. His adoption by Mathieu at the end of the film provides the emotional resolution to the flashback narrative.
