How To Get Avatar Id Vrchat

Finding a VRChat Avatar ID (also known as a Blueprint ID) depends on whether you are looking for a public avatar or one of your own uploads. The Avatar ID is a unique string (e.g., avtr_26187637-0c30-4a09-86e1-bc928c07309e) used by VRChat to identify specific models in its database. Finding IDs for Public Avatars

• Open VRCX → go to Avatars tab → find any avatar you have equipped or favorited → right-click → Copy Avatar ID.
• Also works for public avatars in your favorites.

"VRCX shows 'Private Avatar' or 'Access Denied'."

• Reason: The avatar is set to Private by the uploader, or it is a Quest-only avatar while you are on PC (or vice versa). VRCX cannot fetch the ID of private avatars via API. You will need the log file method (Method 1) as you are technically loading the asset locally.

1. Open the world in VRChat
2. Look for a pedestal with the avatar
3. With VRCX running, stand near the pedestal → VRCX will show the avatar ID in its "Nearby" tab
