Step 3: Prepare for the Update
If you found a legitimate file:

Step 4: Perform the Update
- Turn the AVR off (standby mode – red LED).
- Insert the USB drive into the service port (rear USB – not the front, if both exist; check manual).
- Press and hold the Info button on the front panel, then press the Power button.
- Keep holding Info until the display shows "UPDATE" or "USB UPDATE".
- Release all buttons. The update takes 5–15 minutes.
- Do not power off or remove the USB drive until the display says "COMPLETE" or the unit reboots itself.
