• Cause: The save was created using a different rendering backend (Vulkan vs OpenGL).
• Fix: While the game is running, swipe from the side to open the AetherSX2 overlay. Change the GPU Renderer from Vulkan to OpenGL (or vice versa). Restart the game. The exclusive save usually prefers Software Mode for rendering costumes.

Step B – On Android:

1. Copy gow_import.ps2 to /AetherSX2/memcards/.
2. In AetherSX2, go to Settings > Memory Cards.
3. Temporarily swap Mcd001.ps2 with gow_import.ps2 (or use slot 2).
4. Launch GoW, load your save, then re-save to your main card.
