Write-Up: GM Techline Connect Software Download & Installation
Subject: Standard Operating Procedure for TLC (Techline Connect) Client Download and Setup Applies To: GM Dealerships, ACDelco Service Centers, and Authorized Aftermarket Shops
Via TIS2Web: Select the TLC tab to find the installation package.
- Visit the official ACDelco TDS portal.
- Click "Sign In" or "Create Account."
- Independent shops will need to purchase a subscription (usually daily, monthly, or yearly passes). Dealership technicians use their GM GlobalConnect login.
Note: As of late 2023/2024, GM has begun transitioning to a new platform called "GM Global Diagnostic System" (GDS 2 via the web), but Techline Connect remains actively used for programming and legacy support. We will cover the current status as well.
