Typical troubleshooting
- POWER: On/Off.
- MENU/ENTER: Toggles between the measurement screen and the settings menu. Also used to select options.
- UP / DOWN Arrows: Used to scroll through satellites, frequencies, or volume levels.
- OK/EXIT: Confirms settings or backs out of menus.
Chapter 3: The Setup (Configuration)
This is the most critical part of the manual. The RV3 needs to know which satellite you are looking for and what frequency to listen to. The two critical bars: Select "Satellite Finding" ->
Weather Matters: Heavy rain or thick clouds can dampen signal strength. Try to calibrate on a clear day if possible.
Azimuth (Left/Right): Slowly rotate the dish horizontally. When the meter shows a spike in signal strength or the pitch of the buzzer increases, you are near a satellite.
