Method 1: Download via Bootcamp Assistant on macOS (Easiest)
- Open Finder → Applications → Utilities → Boot Camp Assistant.
- From the top menu bar, click Action → Download Windows Support Software.
- Choose a save location (external USB drive or folder).
- Bootcamp Assistant will download the latest drivers for your Mac model. For most 2015–2020 Macs, this will be version 6.1.
- Once downloaded, copy the
WindowsSupportfolder to a FAT32 or exFAT USB drive.
4. Clock shows wrong time when switching macOS ↔ Windows
- Fix: In Windows, disable internet time sync, or add a registry key to force UTC time.
