1. The USB Cable Matters More Than You Think

• Do not use a charging-only cable. You need a USB-C cable rated for data transfer (USB 3.0 or higher).
• Keep it short. Cables longer than 1 meter (3 feet) frequently fail with the P50 Pro. A 0.5m (1.5ft) quality cable is ideal.
• Test with a PC: Connect the P50 Pro to a Windows PC. If the PC does not detect the phone for file transfer, the cable is faulty.
