Acer Q65h2-am V1.1 Manual
The Acer Q65H2-AM V1.1 is a micro-ATX motherboard originally designed for the Acer Veriton S4610G and X4610 series business desktops. While official standalone manuals are rare for OEM parts, this board is built around the Intel Q65 Express chipset and supports 2nd Generation (Sandy Bridge) Intel processors. Core Specifications Socket: LGA 1155 (Socket H2).
6. Known Limitations & Errata for v1.1
- SATA Speed: Users attempting to install an SSD will be limited to ~280 MB/s (SATA II limit). A PCIe-to-SATA III adapter is recommended.
- USB 3.0: The two blue USB 3.0 ports on the back are controlled by an ASMedia (or Renesas) chip. These do not work until the OS loads the driver; they are inactive in BIOS/Setup.
- Windows 11: This board does not officially support Windows 11 due to lack of TPM 2.0 (only TPM 1.2 via header) and an unsupported CPU generation.
Note: It generally does not support 3rd Generation (Ivy Bridge) CPUs like the i5-3470 without specific BIOS updates, which are largely unavailable. acer q65h2-am v1.1 manual
