Installation steps for a manually downloaded driver:
- Download the
.zip or .exe file marked as “fixed” or “Windows 11 compatible.”
- Extract the contents to a folder (e.g.,
C:\Drivers\4GUFiXX).
- Open Device Manager, right-click the yellow-bang device, and select Update driver.
- Choose Browse my computer for drivers.
- Click Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
- Click Have Disk, then Browse, and navigate to your extracted folder. Select the
.inf file.
- Click Open > OK > Next.
- If Windows warns about an unsigned driver, click Install anyway (requires disabling driver signature enforcement first – see Method 4).
